Botox® Cosmetic is a simple, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe lines and wrinkles around the eye area in individuals from 18 to 65 years old. How Long is the Treatment, and What can I Expect?
Botox® or Juvéderm® treatments are quick and minimally invasive. The treatments should not take more long - each area varies.
Before beginning the procedure, we will cleanse the treatment area and will offer you anesthetic if needed. Afterwards, the product will be injected directly into neuromuscular tissue with a very fine needle. It requires 1-4 days to take effect, reflecting the time necessary to disrupt the synaptosomal process.
The number of injections that you will need depends on the size of the treatment area and the severity of your wrinkles. As an example, crow’s feet usually require fewer injections than furrows above the brow.
